Using factory sat nav once new double din fitted

Hello there,
I have a uk 04 rx8 complete with DVD sat nav and was wondering what I need to keep it working if I changed to a double din stereo. Also what other looms I would need to keep steering wheel controls.

Many thanks in advance.

OK disregard first post looking through websites etc it is far too expensive to do this. But looking at getting an xcarlink into the back of the HU looks a good idea for my iphone with the blue tooth option sounds promising.
However with my factory fitted dvd sat nav. Does this go into same port as the xcarlink, meaning that I cannot have both or will it be OK?
many thanks for any information given

All the iPod integration modules use the external CD changer port on the rear of the factory headunit. The factory navigation has nothing to do with this. So yes, you can have both.

One thing I've been wondering about these modules equipped with bluetooth. I bet you the sound quality and overall volume of the music is degraded when using bluetooth versus a 3.5mm aux connection or a real iPod connection. I have experienced this with other equipment, so I bet you it's very similar.
