I switched my orange corners on my 8 to clear like alot of us here.

Has anyone wired the corner to signal when they turn??

I opened up the panel on that side to see if I could do it. However, the voltage going to the 7440 turn light was a heck of lot hotter than the one going to the corner. That and the concern with cross-wiring (and short-circuiting) when the regular lights come on...

Well...that scared the crap outta me. However, I was thinking that you could use an 8-contact relay switch to turn off the regular corner light when the blinker is on. That was the point that I gave up.

Just let me know if I can muddle things in any way. Good luck, man!

anyone figure this out?
what about simply wiring in some resistors to cut down on the voltage across the corner bulb?

actually it is pretty easy to do...there is a lot of voltage going to the stock corners but what you can do is use a load equalizer that will siphon off power in the form of heat...the one caveat is all bulbs must be LCD (which look cooler and last longer anyway so not really a problem)

I'm all for people figuring this out but why???? It looks much cooler to have LED bulbs in the clear corners and the inner driving lights that are on all the time...more people can see them which is what you want to do, meanwhile it is easy to see the turn signals from the side of the car anyway

good luck...I'm too busy to help out anymore
