Trivia: What is passenger-side dash anomoly?

Alright, points to the person who can answer this one. I've run searches and looked through the Shop Manual twice, but find no reference to this item on my 05.

On the top of the dashboard, about 5" from the right side of the car and 1" from the windshield, there is a 3/4" round item that looks like a sensor or something. It has no equivalent on the driver's side.

What is it?

is that the autopilot sensor? I dunno...

It's where the sensor for the automatic climate control goes in cars so equipped...

Yep, its the sunlight sensor for the climate control. Some people have covered this up I believe to stop it going mental when the sun comes out.

KHTM: I thought of that, too, but the AudioPilot microphone is in the console next to the driver's right foot.
