what colors are the wires? i tried https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...129#post252129 and its not giving me any signal, any suggestions?

bose, i believe 40th is like gt with fancy badges and a few different colors here and there.

yeah, i can't find anything with good results, i found a wiring diagram, and a picture of what the guy tapped. no good results, sub still not playing anything when all plugged in. and i know the sub works for sure.

Door/system wire colors:

* base radio:
o Door left: +R -W (tweeter same)
o Door right +W/B -Y/R (tweeter same)
o Rear left +V -P
o Rear right +W/L -B/L

* Bose radio:
o Door tweet left +R -W (door speaker connected direct to amp)
o Door tweet right +W/R -Y/R (door speaker connected direct to amp)
o Centre mid +L/B -G/Y
o Rear left +V -P (tweeters are co-axial, same colors)
o Rear right +W/L -B/L (tweeters are co-axial, same colors)

 

yup, tried those for colors exactly exactly, and i have 2 david navone LOC's and still no results, will post a pic soon.

 

Those are the right wires.. I've done the same wires on bose and non bose.. it sounds like you have something else wrong.. probably your remote turn on, or you have the levels turned all the way down or something... post pics and make sure you get your amp dials and stuff in the pics..
