somewhat irrelevant, but thanks to your video i can now tap into the ash tray light for footwells! Kudos!!

No^ they just replaced the LEDs attached to the board for the radio and I changed mine to blue it's quite difficult but also easy. Getting to the board is simple (15 min of screws is all) but led removal and then resoldering is a pain I burnt myself several times trying to be accurate and I had 1 or 2 where the board was slightly burnt and they didn't work at first without a little extra help. But all is fine I installed a new HU and all works fine

nope not yet, didnt find the time, plus i think they are the very small cylinder leds for the LCD screen
