I am thinking of putting two 10" subs, specifically these :

in the trunk. Now the main question is where would I mount them without taking up the whole trunk space? What do you guys have for a subwoofer setup? Please post some pics if you can. Would mounting them opposite each other inside the trunk near the rear wheel well (the small space between the wheelwell and the side work?) Has anyone had any custom boxes made? Know where I can get some online? Thanks.

 

well first off, http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...pa+100.9W.html is cheaper. for a box, search for 4080 sub box for the corner boxes which look real nice, or cheaper is a box that goes under the rear deck, mine is a zenclosures box off ebay search for rx8 sub box on ebay and find it there

Thanks. I saw the 4080 corner box, looks really nice. However putting subs opposite each other, would it cause any distortion? Which set up would give better bass, a traditional sub box such as the zen enclosure or these corner boxes? Does anyone sell any ported and sealed boxes for the rx8?

 

ported no one sells because it dont fit, subs facing eachother is fine find firebirdude's post on above link with his setup
