Sub box

Hey guys so I bought the rx8 box which fits perfect in the trunk for a 10 but I dislike the sound I am getting. I want a ported box in there with more bass rather than having hardly any (bass head). I tried measuring my trunk but god there is sooo many ways to measure and ive never dealt with the opening being so small. Can anyone tell me if a box the sixe of WxHXD of 30"x13 1/2x 16" will fit? Maybe trunk experts I'd appreciate it a lot!!! Thanks!

Here's the potential choices
1) NEW 2 CUBIC FEET MDF CUSTOM-VENTED 12" CAR SUBWOOFER BOX ENCLOSURE TUNED AT 32Hz | eBay

2) Pro Box 110SPB armor coated single 10" super bass enclosure with port | eBay

I believe 30" is too wide. When I measured my space I got 28" for my width at the shortest point.

Yea seems like it would be I'm guessing the probox will be a better box since its width is 24" wide.

cut up some cardboard boxes to those dimensions and see how well they fit - remember sometimes it's not a matter if they fit in the space, it's a matter of if they fit through the trunk opening to begin with.

Exactly. The opening for the trunk is so dang small.

And if you're a self-admitted bass head, why don't you at least go with a 12"?

I know I hate the opening of the trunk I came along some cardboard and will be cutting it up and play around with it to see what fits and what doesn't, this is a handmade USA subwoofer, check it out dcaudio.us it'll give specs on the lvl4 m2 thus no need for a 12 a 10 can do enough damage
