I wonder if he can make a single 12" cutout that goes all the way across... I'll give him a call.

That's what I got. It goes all the way across and you can choose where you want the cutout; left, right or middle.

I finally got some pictures of the box installed. It turned out well and sounds great with my sub and amp. Get one at srqcustoms.com!

Your trunk would look 10x better if you flipped your amp. The sideways look is killing you. Also, loom the wires with some quality fabric loom (www.partsexpress.com) and you'll be in business.

Constructive criticism aside, that looks great back there!

Thanks for the input. I agree that it would look better with the amp mounted straight up and down. The reason I didn't do that is because the face plate has screws that hold it in that I wouldn't be able to get to if it was up and down. I would have to dismount it to change any settings on the amp, which is not kosher. I do plan on hiding the wiring, I just haven't figured out a good way to do it.

How often do you see yourself changing settings on the amp? Everyone always says that.

Maybe a little in the beginning, but after that, I'll go years without even looking at my amp.

I adjust my volume by changing the gains on my amp.

I'll change them every now and then. Not just the gain, but the crossover and bass boost too.

Different strokes for different folks.

Clippping? Isn't that something your mom does to get coupons from the newspaper?

Firebird, honestly how many people who install thier own equipment even understand what clipping is?

Well it's certainly not going to sound the same with and without a box. Many may describe it as "funny". I'd hope you didn't blow it and get it into a box asap.
