All the fuses were fine. I even replaced the ones that controll the accesory and it still didn't work, no power from the accesory. Ordering a new 12v accesory tomorrow and hopefully that will do the trick.

Do you have a multimeter? Or even a testlight? Start troubleshooting man. The outlet is just a hunk of metal with two wires running to it. Highly doubt anything is wrong with it.

Secondly, you can use any 12V source for your remote turn on.

you can run a wire straight to the battery and install a switch. kinda ghetto but it would work

lol. That's not ghetto. It's just stupid. There's a hundred other places you can get an ignition source.

Had to login just to post thank you. I have had my 8 since 2008 and recently decided to add some bass to my car. Been researching on methods of tapping and this is the best one. Cheers!
