stock Bose issues

I have an '04 with the Bose system. my cd changer doesn't load, I can add/play one cd, but the "load" button does not seem to work at all, so adding additional disks doesn't work. also, the cd skips over even minor bumps, I've never had an auto system that skips so bad. are either of these common issues? thanks for any info.

Do you have a little picture logo that says 6 disc, with a picture of 6 cd's on the radio faceplate? It would be slightly up and left from the volume ****, symmetrical with the standard compact disc logo that is there on the right side. As for the skipping issue, I seem to recall seeing a thread about that recently, I'm not 100% sure.

no, there is no "6 disk" logo, perhaps that's why I can't load more than one lol. the seller advertised it as having the 6 disk in dash changer, and it has the Bose system and I was thinking all the Bose had the changers, sounds like I was wrong. thanks for the info, I'll most likely upgrade to a better system eventually anyway.
