I want to replace my factory headunit and need help

i have an 2004 rx 8 with auto climate control is it posibel to replase the head unit (cd player) ?

Yes. Metra makes a kit that allows you to mount a single or double din stereo in place of the old one.

Why do you want to replace the stock one? The stock one just looks right... anything else looks... funny... unless its a dvd player.

what kit fits an rx 8 with auto climate control ? all the metra kit`s i have found says that it only works on manual climate control.

They will work with auto as well

i want to replace the stock one becouse it dont work, the cd player skips and give me the cd. do anybody know how to fiks this , i read the mazda manual and it says that you can not clean the cd player with an cleaning cd ( i have the 6 cd changer )
