stero problem!!

stero problem!!

so in my rx8 i jumped the battery the other day and since then the stero will not work not cds not the radio it says its on and playing but no sound everything worked perfectly fine for the last 4 months ive had the car any ideas??

looks like it lost an E too. might want to look for that first

He's joking around because you misspelled "stereo"

Mazda does not recommend jumping the RX8 (or jumping someone). Keep that in mind for the future.

It sounds like you have a blown fuse. If I remember right, I believe someone else had this problem and it was a blown fuse under the hood. Check them all with a multimeter, if you have one. If they all seem fine, check the ones in the drivers kick panel area.

And yes, it's probably a fuse.

wow you guys dont need to be dicks this is my sons car who died in the marines fighting for his country im not to up on his car with fixing it i just drive it for him since he can no longer do that all i asked was a question on how to fix the problem at hand if your gonna be ******** dont respond id rather figure it out on my own

unplug the negative connection on the battery and let it sit for abit similar thing happen to me should work after if not best thing to do disconnect the deck and reset it
