Steering wheel controls ?

I just bought my '06 rx8 today, I can't wait until wed to get the car! As my tradition with all my cars I change my stereo the first day I get it. I'm just wondering if the install kits come the ability to retain the steering wheel controls or do I need to buy a new one?

You're going to need an interface box between the steering wheel controls and your radio:

Take a look at the Axxess ASWC as well. No programming required - I have one in my 8, and it works great.

Check the reviews at http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...xess+ASWC.html

Man thanks for the tip not I'm not as worried installing the new stereo... next question looking for some opinions. I just got the pioneer AV5200-BT single din with the flip up screen. I got that dec with a crutchfield missprint price. Does any one have any pics of this style of stereo installed to see if I should just sell it and get a dbl din or stick with what I got?

its not going to flow very well with the interior. it will also block your vents.
