Sirius/XM Merger
For those who have been paying attention, Sirius and XM are now offering subscribers of each respective to service to add on channels from the other service. A compatible receiver is required to get the additional content though. http://www.sirius.com/bestofxm

In my case, I can either get the XM antenna and plug it into my Kenwood KVT-819DVD along with my somewhat older Kenwood Sirius adapter or get a new adapter altogether that will handle both in one receiver.
Subscription wise, I am a lifetime Sirius subscriber. If I want the XM channels, if I get a new receiver I need to pay $75 to transfer the subcription and then $150 to add the XM channels for life.
