Sirius/XM Merger
For those who have been paying attention, Sirius and XM are now offering subscribers of each respective to service to add on channels from the other service. A compatible receiver is required to get the additional content though. http://www.sirius.com/bestofxm
http://www.xmradio.com/bestofsirius/...aign=BOSUPSELL In my case, I can either get the XM antenna and plug it into my Kenwood KVT-819DVD along with my somewhat older Kenwood Sirius adapter or get a new adapter altogether that will handle both in one receiver. Subscription wise, I am a lifetime Sirius subscriber. If I want the XM channels, if I get a new receiver I need to pay $75 to transfer the subcription and then $150 to add the XM channels for life. |
I have no interest in any of the "best of XM" channels. They should just add those for free. I'd rather have all of XM's music channels for a small fee.
