Should I buy a Phoenix Gold x600.1 amp?
Hi guys! I have a Jl 10w6 sub and Im not sure if I should just go ahead and save my money (about $100) to buy a Phoenix Gold Xenon x600.1 mono amp or just pay the extra cash for a Jl 500/1 amp? If anyone has the phoenix gold amp with this sub can you tell me how you like your system, and if you don't can any one tell me why would you recommend the jl or phoenix amp? Thanks guys...

I have a Phoenix Gold Titanium 600.2 amp powering alpine 10s and the amp powers them greatly. Since the Xenons replaced the Titanium amps, I bet they are just as good. especially with that sub, I think it will sound fine with the PG amp. So save the cash and go PG

PG are known to make great amps. Xenons did replace the titaniums but 1st batch has some recall problems(a normal thing on a new product just like the JL line amps also has major recalls) just to let you know but the issues has been fixed. As long as the amp has not been sitting in the shop since Xenon is released, you should be fine. I had great experiences with PG amps, I also had all titanium series amps in my set-up.
