Replacement Head Unit Noob Question

Ok I know this had probably been posted before but I couldn't find much with the search feature. I just bought my first 04 RX8, it has the factory single disc player (non bose) and i've been told that the 04 is not Sirius ready? My question is, is there ANY kind of dash kit to replace my factory disc player? At first I was just going to tie into my factory wiring kit and use the factory head unit but the more and more I listen to it the more and more I would really like to put some kind of aftermarket deck. From reading this forum it looks like nobody makes one (scosche ect.) but is anyone aware of a custom dash panel or anything that would work with an aftermarket deck?

there is a reason not many people have done it.

first you have to purchase them on Japanese websites with NO english words at all and they cost about 500 bucks (just for the kit) then you have to relocate your factory and run wires to keep your AC controls... it's really just WAAAAY more work than it's worth..

or you can take it to a stereo shop and let them do it for you all custom.. not cheap..
