Remote Start System?
So the dealership has a remote start system but it requires an extra FOB. Anyone know of any aftermarket RSS that will give a new FOB that handles Doors/Locks/Alarm/Trunk/Start?
Any recommendations around the $500 range?
Thanks,
Derek

Maybe I'm not understanding. The dealership can install a RSS that will force you to carry your regular car key + an additional keyfob? And you want an aftermarket system that will force you to carry your regular car key + an additional keyfob?
Any high-end system will do that. Python 990 for example.
EDIT: Also the 872 will do all that but doesn't have the LCD screen. You may think that you don't care about that and you want to save some money.... well that thing is a piece of crap. I've installed several of them. The entire system is designed completely different from anything else DEI has done. I would avoid it.
EDIT x 2: Was looking for the best price on the 990 and see that it's been discontinued, but the Viper equivalent is still being made. Same exact thing made from the same exact factory. They just stick a different name brand on them. My guess is that it's a marketing scheme. For example, Best Buy has exclusive rights to Viper and Circuit City had exclusive rights to Python. Or similar.
Pick one. And sonic is a very reputable site. No worries there.
