I know there is a DIY sticky but what i wanna know is how to access the accessory plug in the back. the picture just shows the plug being tapped already and doesnt go into how to run the plug underneath the center trim of the car. any help would be appreciated...

Post Taps....

I recently tapped into that plug for my XM radio, in the trunk.

Pretty difficult if it's already wired like that, you'd have to get the whole plug assembly thru!

I taped coat hanger wire to my power wires, then pushed it from the rear passenger seatbelt buckle to the back of the plug, and wired it in, pretty simple.

I did mine pretty much the same way with a coat hanger.

Oh, running it under the center trim?

Well, your going to just have to remove the whole center piece to get under it. Its not too difficult, just start removing screws and pulling things and it should come off no problem.

I just removed a few screws so I could tilt the edge up and then tucked it underneath. I didn't have to remove the entire console.
