Remote Bass Control

I just bought an Audiobahn 12" sub with an Audiobahn amplifier. It is too much bass. I like it when I want to hear it, but when I just want to listen to rock or if I ever wanted to listen to a football game I would be unable to due to the constant amount of bass. I know that I need to get a remote bass controller for it. What is the namebrand that will fit into the knockout panel on the left side?

If the Audiobahn amp has the port for a remote level control, it is the Audiobahn ABR100T. It will need to be taken apart to be put into the knock out panel location.

Mine is the A2201Q. What can I do to lower the bass? Anything I can do at all?

Does this amp have a port on it that looks like a phone cable or headphone would plug into it? If it does, then the bass remote I listed above should work. If it does not, then you need a proper interface adaptor like the Audio Control LC6 + bass remote.

i have a remote that came with my audio control 6xs. my question is "Is it better to have the remote on the imput side(6xs) or for the Jl 500/1 amp itself. any draw backs to just having one or the other?

Have it on the 6XS as you are directly adjusting the input voltage of the amp before an amplification is done. Do not use both.

I am having a similar problem with a SIR-PS1 subwoofer. Unfortunately no external sub level control.
Has anyone used a legacy LXR4 crossover before the amp for bass control? It has a remote subwoofer level, and is very inexpensive ($30-$40).
Any ideas how this would work with a powered sub?
