My display is messed up. The entire thing lights up and i cannot read what it says. I bought a new screen but the new one does the same thing. Gets really bad when the car is running and when i put it on CD. What should i do to fix this?

Check your connections from the head unit to the face plate.

 

Good call. I'm pretty certain it has two blade type (the kind used in li ion batteries in a notebook) multi-pin connectors. Also check to see if the screw in the back is sill there as this may be what caused it to crack the standoffs. My dealership failed to re-install it unfortunately but I took it apart and found the issues that 1.3 is referring to.
