I can tell you this: some people are hesitant to go this route because it 'impairs' their vision but it really doesn't if you think about it. What are you possibly looking at that is @ your 1 o'clock.

I wouldn't say I think it'll impair my field of vision....maybe.... but more so, I just think it might look "cluttered". I'm the guy that's ripping my e-pass apart to hide somewhere rather than having it sticking on the windshield.lol I have my Bel RX65 behind the black dots now. I don't mind it there, but I haven't decided if performance is truly the same as without the dots. There has been several instances where I am practically on top of a cop before it sounds the Ka alert. (Not a cop running radar, just cruising around town) Also, times where I'm within a stones toss to the front door of Walgreens before the K-band alert appears. Also, it rattles against the windshield AND mirror in that position.

If you could just snap a few more from various places, I'd really appreciate it.

You could take it to the track. Then you wouldn't need one of those contraptions.

I far prefer the detector over the rear view mirror.

If you don't like the suction cups, remove them, and use glass glue to stick the mount to the window.

How can you use a rdar dector on the way to work?

There's way too much traffic.

negative. It's the beauty of being the boss, I get in whenever I want. (hence, NO traffic)

My Bel has a VERY large "snooze like" bar across the top of the detector.

The radar detector is mounted via the same adapter that the suction cups attach to...so he radar detetector can easily be taken off quickly.

To remove the actual bracket, you will need to unscrew two bolts with an alen wrench...probably would take less than 5 minutes - although I am not sure why you want to constantly remove it.

SAFEST BET: measure your bracket.

They seem like they are made from home depot but actually are made from aluminum and anodized black. Quality is great and I like it a lot.

Mmmmkay... since i have a '06 w/ homelink i would need the 23mm then right?

I know my location is not optimal for rear detection, but I like the location because it's semi hidden.
