Exclamation Quick Help! Final Wiring Of Subs!!!

Hi all. I currently have 2 10" Rockford Fosgate subs that each have an impedence of 8 ohms. I have an Alpine MRP 450 amp which powers at 4 ohms. My sub box has 2 sealed seperate enclosures for the sub. My question is, how do I wire this properly to ensure my subs are setup at 4 ohms (like the sub). I am led to believe I should wire it like this:

Connect positive on left sub to positive on right sub. Connect negative on left sub to negative on right sub. Connect negative on left sub to negative on the amp. Connect positive on the right sub to positive on the amp.

Is this right? Please post suggestions etc below. Thanks.
