I will install a 500/1 jl amp + 2 10w3 subs in my rx8. Then I will also install my car-puter which lets just say round 150w(opus). My question is will the rx8 be able to still run all of that and then also have enough in it to still charge the battery. Only reason I am saying this is on my 95 civic, it barely can and the windows roll up very very slowly so its barely re-charging itself.

I am hoping that the alternator in the rx8 is a strong one but maybe someone can shed some light on this for me. I have heard of getting one of those aftermarket electronic gel cell batteries. I am also saying this with leaving the engine running not just accessory....

Please help me shed some light on this

 

The Alternator is 100 amps.....should be enough, but to ensure it, I'd use a 1-farod cap. --thats what I'm, doing. I'll post pics once I'm done all my install.
