I just think CorkSport could of made it slightly better, it's not the worse H.U. that I've seen, but to get a perfect fitment, custom fabrication is the only way to go.. You got any other pictures of your set up, from that angle of the picture you posted, it doesn't look bad at all.

None at the moment. That picture was taken by someone else. I'll snap some soon and post. I agree with you that it could have been a little tighter to the HU also. I wish I could have had one made but not enough $$$ for that.

How much do you think it would cost to get your own H.U. fabricated? I haven't had a chance to go and see how much it would be.. To anyone who has gotten their H.U.'s custom fabricated, how much was it? Also, midlifer when you get a chance post some more pictures!

Took a few today. Not the best but it gives you an idea of what it looks like. I can say it does look better in person.

FYI The D3's are having a $200 rebate if you buy them from an authorized pioneer reseller. After taxes/rebate I just bought mine for $399.
