Passport G-Timer

Had some fun last night with a new "toy" I got.
Got the idea from on of the members here who gave me his old unit,
He had his mounted on the wind shield by the rearview mirror to.
The G-Timer comes with a telephone jack cigarette lighter, so it was easy to
Hook it up with regular phone wire.
Will play around with it later today, if the weather holds up....

That's almost the same one that I am building into the dash below the dvd unit in my customers RX8. It's a cool little gadget isn't it.

what exactly does this unit monitor? is it just lateral g's or can it meassure g's under acceleration and braking?

or does it not even measure g's and i'm just reading in to much into it's name? :p

Haven't gota the change yet to try it out yet.

You should get the remote button/hardwire kit. Check it out.. it's the one on the right (the one on the left is the remote mute for the 8500 radar/laser detector:

Almost ready for the Revi and oil/air cooler grills from RB...
