After buying my RX-8 I decided that it would be in my best interests to buy a decent radar detector. I decided on an Escort Passport 8500. So far, so good.

While browsing their site, I found that they have a gadget that will time your 0-60 speed, ¼ mile time, peak and average HP and a few other things.

A little spendy for a device that will likely be used once or twice. But it would be cool to know how your car performs and also how you stack up as a driver too.
