Opinion of subs and amp on sale

I was wondering if anyone could give me an opinion of this special Crutchfield has for sale. I know a little about car audio but would like other opinions before I spend money. Birthday is coming up and I don't want to waste all that cash heh. Thanks in advance.

my opinion is htat sony since htey have gone to the xplod line, has gone way down hill, BUT, having said that, i definetly dont mean their stuff is junk. i think for hte price, those are decent stuff, their amps are acutally pretty decent, i am not a big fan of their subs but they will sound okay.

so my opinion is that if you do get it, you will be getting a pretty good set or products, i wish they sold just the amp for cheap and then you can find two subs from other brands who may outperform the sony...but again, you wont be disappointed for hte money you will be spending...

Ok and thank you very much for the opinion. I went to a local car audio shop and he gave me a quote for a custom box with matching carpet, 2 Infinity Kappa 10" subs, a Cadence M3000 amp, and install for a total of $815.00. Gonna wait though and do some research on the amp and speakers, see if maybe that is really what I want and if I can find them for any cheaper.

my opinion of any JL product is that they are good, you wil lrarely find a company as dedicated as JL to making good performing product... the w7 line, being their premier line of subs, are definerly very good, they get extremely loud and sound good...now, in my opinion there are subs that are cheaper and can sound just as good and get just as loud, but if you have the money and want a great product, its a good way to go.
