huh?

what you're seeing is the metra kit, corksport also makes one. it allows you to put a double din head unit in the car.

metra or corksport dash kit for the rx8
if you have a bose system then you'll need the adapter for it (sites that sell the kit have the option to add it)

a double din head unit of you choice

a pac swi controller if you want to retain the controls on your steering wheel

an understanding of how to install it or take it to a good car stereo place (not best buy or circuit city)

Alright so I also am new to the dvd/nav market, so my quick question would be if I were to use a metra kit and any Head unit it will work? Because I have been looking around and whenever I check to see if a head unit will work for our cars it always says that it will not fit. I have not asked any pro installer yet but I figured I could get a quick answer here. Thanks.

Any headunit double din or single din will work with the metra kit unless your doing an install with a deck the size of the ipad...

All will fit open a manual once
you get the proper gear and follow the steps and eveything will go good
