OEM iPod adapter questions

I just got my 8 a couple months ago (yay!), but I've yet to put in a MP3 input. I looked around for a Zune adapter DIY with no results, so I'm going to bite the bullet and get an iPod. That said, I've seen there is an OEM adapter for them, but it doesn't say if having a factory nav/6 disc changer will hinder the installation. So, does anyone know if I can put the C9F2-V6-572-US kit into a 2004 RX-8 with onboard nav and 6 disc changer?

I really can't help you as I have no experience with the ipod connector, I'm running a pioneer head unit with the metra kit.

But I feel you about the Zune man! I had a Zune HD 32 gb and I ended up selling it because of compatibility issues with the head unit... I got a ipod touch, but it just doesn't compare. I miss that zune but oh well, Microsoft abandoned that project as well.

I have a 120gb, and 2 40gb, that I love. I've always like the monthly sub vs. 99c a song, but I need something in the 8 ya know? heh.

Well, a friend pointed out I could just dock my iPhone and use it. Means I just need the integration kit then. Thanks for the post though gfailure, I'm going to look into that as I'd love to get my Zune in there still!

Why dig your phone in and out of your pocket every time you get in/out the car, when you could just have a 32GB flash drive or SD card installed?
