No audio at all. Help!
No audio at all. Help!
I recently installed some subwoofers and amp in my car and they were working perfectly for over a month. The other day I get in my car to go home from work and the subs start going full blast with no music just a loud noise so I immediately turn my car off. When I turn it back on I have NOTHING.
I went home thinking maybe my wiring had come loose where I tapped into the stock amp. I don't remember if I ended up connecting my low pass filter pre-stock amp or after but I'm pretty sure I did after. I did a kind of crappy job in all honesty. Anyway I hooked everything back up stock with wires going straight through and then double checked and redid them all and still NOTHING. I checked the fuses by the gas/cluth pedal and they all look fine.
Anyone have any idea's?
What steps can I take to trace down my problem? I hope I did not blow my rear stock amp, or over-tax my head unit. Is there a way I can test to verify? I know the sound system acts exactly like this with the rear amp unplugged, so I'm thinking that's the problem.
