New trunk setup
Just thought I'd share my latest stereo mod. The corner box I made to house my amp really turned out good. For the floor I did sort of a shadow box thingy. I made a box that sits down in the floor then I lined it with mirrors and put two blue neon tubes (same as the ones in the amp) at each end. I then covered a piece of plexi glass with painters tape and drew "RX8" on the painters tape and carefully cut it out leaving only the "RX8" on the plexi. Next I painted the plexi and removed the "RX8" once it dried. I placed a second piece of plexi glass over the the "RX8" to avoid scratching and affixed both to the box. Then I centered the floor insert over the box and used small "L" brackets to attach everything. I wired the neons up to cut on with the amp. It is really hard to see in the pic but when you look down inside the box there is somewhat of a 3-D affect going on because of the mirrors at the bottom. I had one of my friends look at it and he was really impressed. He even asked how I got the second "RX8" to appear at the bottom of the box. Well hope you guys/gals enjoy.

I do have two but the other is mounted on the back of the rear seat just to the left of the spare. It's a small sony used to power the 7 tweeters I have in the car. The setup in the floor is just for show. You can see the reflection of the "RX8" down below. Looks pretty neat at night with the blue neons.
