I dont listen to rap much, mostly rock, I jus like quality bass, in large amounts and wirh loud speakers. Which i have all i need to get this with a Rockford T2 and focal speakers but it seems like this car is going to make it a real PITA.

nope, it's pulling from one of the rear speakers. I didn't wanna mess with the HU too much. The numbers aren't that high simply cause of the airspace between the top of the sub and the bottom of the trunklid. I've been thinking about changing to a smaller box.

Wow you're the first person I've ever met that had one of those also...I had an 18" Stroker in my Explorer in a 7 cu. ft. box. That was bass heaven!

What do you guys about trance music? Its bass quality is more enticing than the rap music.

Yeah...in a sealed enclosure it was indeed bass heaven. In a bandpass box...OMFG...bass overkill...made you want to crap after it rattled your eyes loose from your sockets.

It was sweeeeeeeet....

If I put a sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper on my Explorer's center armrest, the thing would do a dance as soon as the song started and then when the bass hit it would just go flyin!

College rocked! I got to skip class and just build sound systems. No girfriend (wife for some of you LOL) / boss breathing down your neck!
