so would that dash tray be available only with the screen shown or will it be available without the screen? according to an earlier estimate, $2000+ seemed a little steep. (at least for a broke college student :P)

nevermind: just looked at it more closely, looks like you gotta buy their monitor and hardware. probably specially designed.

 

As there are TWO DIFFERENT 3RD PARTY navgiation units that are bundled together with this dash panel (the screens are from the 3rd party sold together with the nav hardware at any audio shop) for DEALER installation... I would suspect that this dash panel can be bought separately.

 

So did anyone contact one of the importers to see if we can get this?

Oh gAd!! I've order my modded 1din console... didn't received it yet (customs taking so much timeee), i start to loose sleep in the night coz i've everything ready but i cannot mount the monitor anywhere! Saaaaaveeeee meeeeee!

 

 

Good news guys...your perserverance has payed off . I have confirmation I can get this part, in fact I have ordered a couple.

If many are interested I'll order more since they would go out with this shipment. So I am curious how many want this...if you say yes you are NOT committing rather just getting me convinced I should order more than 2 in the initial batch. Info for decision making:

Pricing would be just about 300 US with about 60-70 for customs/transport fees to the US plus shipping.

There is a good chance price will be lower than that as it depends on conversion prices and several other factors but I thought I'd high ball it to be safe.

So who is interested?...please tell me ASAP as I need to update the big order from Japan very soon.

Now i'm officially sick! I've ordered the 1din dash + 1din monitor, then i cannot use this part anymore.. without sell my 1din monitor... and my 1din dash didn't arrived yet.
I'm gonna blame myself! If i'll find a solution, i'll add my name to the list... or if i get crazy i buy everything again then i think to sell the rest off... damn me!

After seeing the suffering with the corksport replacement, I was thinking of leaving the existing stereo/AC and putting my new head unit somewhere else. Does anyone know if a 1 DIN head unit would fit where the NAV unit would go. If so, I'd definitely buy this dash panel.

Are you kidding? :D We're just talking about the top dash replacement.. and i'm blaming myself about this specifically, i bought a 1din dash replacement on ebay. :D

....but i think the magellan (mazdaparts) solutio is a way better! Coz you don't need a 1din monitor, you may use a normal lilliput or so.
