I'm doing my interior lighting and I need a constant 12v source wire by the interior fuse box. I need 12v when the car is off so it can't be switched. Does anyone know a good and safe wire to tap into? I will not be drawing much current. I thought I would ask before I start probing a bunch of wires.

 

Why not just run it straight to the battery? That way you know its not going to damage anything... Just my opinion though...

 

found one...its the constant for the audio (20A). it's a 14ga. white wire with red stripe.

 

I used the Aux Power 20 amp wire (orange)
