Hello all,

I was wondering if any of you have experienced the same minor problem that I have regarding the navigation system. As you know, when the car is started, the navigation screen comes on. It is blue and it has the "do not operate while driving" warning and then it says "Hit enter to continue." When you hit enter, there is a audible beep. You hear the same beep everytime you hit enter while using the system. My problem is that sometimes there is no beep at all no matter when I hit enter. I would have to restat the car and try again to get the beep after hitting enter. Like I said, this is a minor issue as it does not affect the functionality of the system. Anyone experience this? Any resolutions?

Mine beeps whenever i push any button... check the setup menu to see if your beep is turned on or not... other than that, i can't think of anything

 

That *is* minor!

 

The same happens to me. It drives me mad... I think it's a minor software bug, anyway. I think if someone notifies this to Mazda they *may* release a fix... maybe.

i figured it out yesterday... i think

it happened to me, too... but i found out that it only happens on my car if i turn the radio off, turn off the car, and turn the car back on (i.e. turn on the car w/ the radio off). If i turn the car on with the radio on *poof* no problem
