Navagation System, playing movies?
#101
All,
After 3.5 years of using my DVD changer with my NAV display I must say that it was worth the original risk. I've enjoyed watching many movies while on long travels or even while parked and reviewing some interesting video footage (under water dives, etc.).
The video unit was sold by AvElectronic.com and installed by one of their partner installers. It was my idea to store it behind the back seat. We did not need to cut the foam. It does allow you to cover the video adapter and hide this extra unit and cables. The DVD changer is visible in the trunk and gives me easy access to change the 10-DVD magazine.
Good luck with your setups...
