I have it and someone asked for it but I've been very irresponsible by not sending it yet.

Although, I see you're in Montreal as well. I could meet you and give it to you and then you could mail it to the guy I was supposed to mail to? (As long as you don't keep it long cause the next guy's been waiting...)

Up to you.

Brightside 06-07-2012 07:30 PM

I am in Canada too, would it be possible to put me on the list after?

Thanks!

btw is the current firmware glitch-free?

Thanks again

As far as I know it's glitch free.

It's either going to MazdaJeff or sharkman first, then to the one that doesn't get it, then you.

I'll try to let you know who I give it to.

Brightside 06-07-2012 07:40 PM

Sounds good!

I ll get this list going again

#1 MazdaJeff or sharkman
#2 MazdaJeff or sharkman
#3 Brightside

Thanks

youngg 06-23-2012 06:03 PM

Can I be on that list too? Thanks!

marcx987 06-25-2012 05:56 AM

Need to be added to the list. I asked a while ago but the cable didn't reappear till recently. need to fix the time issue with my kit. Then i can finally permanently install the thing and not have to remove it again.

bennyblanco2121 07-04-2012 12:21 PM

Can I be added to the list? I live in New Orleans by the way. Thanks.

Munchy 07-04-2012 12:29 PM

fuck it, no ones answering their pm's.

Brightside, PM me your info if you want it.

bennyblanco2121 07-08-2012 05:18 AM

What's going on with the cable?

Munchy 07-08-2012 10:00 AM

I still have it...

MazdaJeff got back to me and said to send it on.
sharkman hasn't replied yet.
I PM'd Brightside just now.

I'm basically going down the list.

Ok. :dunno:

ccrooks 07-08-2012 11:43 PM

how can you find out the most up to date firmware version?

marcx987 07-09-2012 05:12 AM

So list is basically

#1 MazdaJeff
#2 sharkman(mia)
#3 Brightside
#4 Marcx987
#5 bennyblanco2121

hopefully it makes it way on soon would love to permanently mount my setup.

firebirdude 07-09-2012 08:14 AM

If it ever gets to a point where there's nobody left to send the cable to, send it to me. I'd like to check it out in person and compare it side-by-side with some things I have. I'll try and make a dozen of them, then ship them to whoever next signs up. 40-50 bucks is WAY too much for some stupid little cable. And passing around one is quite inconvenient.

For those that are currently in line, you can also send your Axxess box to Metra for a free update. Obviously you'll be without a headunit while that's going on, but it may be quicker than waiting in line.

1.5

You can scratch MazdaJeff from that list, he said he'll re-ask for it again later.

I'm sending it to Brightside today!

when i scroll through the settings on my Metra, it says Version 2.0...

Munchy 07-11-2012 01:06 PM

I sent it to Brightside yesterday.

I'm not sure about the version number via the radio, but when I did the update, it said the latest update was 1.5.

ccrooks 07-11-2012 03:51 PM

yeah i guess i'm just wondering how to check which version number i have

by the way, did not using the RCA outs on your head unit get rid of the whine? is it super loud, or did you wire up the resistor bridge?

Munchy 07-11-2012 04:38 PM

It got rid of pretty much all abnormal buzzing. As soon as I removed the RCAs, it got rid of the door buzzing and whining related to the RPMs of the car.

I still have a slight static sound when the source is on but no music is playing. Install guy said it was normal, even with aftermarket amps.

ccrooks 07-11-2012 09:46 PM

so you just went straight to the harness then? how's the volume?

Munchy 07-14-2012 12:42 PM

the volume is fine, but i don't go higher than 7 normally. 7 is already hella loud. normal listening is like 2 or 3.

firebirdude 07-14-2012 12:54 PM

hahaha

On that note, I had to order the wire connectors for the PCB's. I should have them shortly and will start soldering up some boards for you guys. Should give you all the volume control you want.:)

ccrooks 07-17-2012 12:29 PM

so i moved the ground to a grounding point in the engine bay. no improvement. i think it's probably pretty hopeless at this point and i should just repair/replace the pico fuse. thoughts?
