Metra kit Axxess box help needed!

Right to the point: Anyone have a pin-out diagram of the Axxess box that comes with the Metra radio adapter kit?

As I've described elsewhere, my symptoms are: No display, no temp control (heat on all the time) and no function from the defroster/whatever combo-switch. All of this worked properly when I initially installed everything, but the radio wasn't quite right and when I pulled it out to fix it and then put it back....something happened, and this stuff hasn't worked since. I have since replaced the Axxess box with a new one, but...nothing changed. Still doesn't work. In fact, everything works exactly the same with the Axxess box completely removed and unplugged, so I suspect maybe its not getting powered properly. I find it unlikely that a bunch of individual problems occurred simultaneously to cause all of this, so I'm looking for the one point of failure which could do it. I'm pretty sure a 12V or ground failure would do it, but I was in fact able to detect 12V and ground in some of the connector pins...I just don't know for a fact which pins SHOULD have that.

Interesting...not sure why old software would work and then not work but I guess you'll find out! I'm pretty sure my Axxess box is not getting powered. I don't know how else to explain NOTHING working any differently than when the box is sitting on my desk at home. I'm also betting that whatever its not getting is supposed to come through the temp harness, but we'll see if I can get access to that info. Weird about he combo switch though, because the car harness connects to it directly and it doesn't go through the Axxess at all...still I suppose the car harness at that point could be connected somewhere to the other stuff and so be affected indirectly. Again...hopefully I'll get the info I need and will be able to figure it out then. For now, I'm at a bit of a loss...

i hooked up the updated box and the only difference i have is now my ac led light isn't lit. still no control. its actually this way for firmware 1.1, 1.4 and the stock radio. i've connected them all. i broke down and took it to the mazda dealer with the stock radio to diagnose my lack of climate controls and find where the problem is. mine seems to be in the car. 3 different units all giving the same response, including the stock.

Interesting...but it wasn't doing that before you initially uninstalled the stock radio?

Hey rotorheads,
I have almost the exact same situation bureau13 had with the metra axxess. Same thing happened to me a couple of days ago, everything was working just fine but the radio had a wire that wasn´t properly isolated causing it to ground and make a whistle/whine sound while accelerating. Long story short, after I pulled my radio out, isolated the wire and went to put everything back on my HVAC climate control unit is not working properly. In my case I do have the display , A/C is working , but I have no way to adjust the temperature, recirculate the air, turn on the front defroster or change the modes to re-direct the air flow which are the buttons showed on the picture attached

Anyone has any idea of what could be wrong? I checked all the fuses and they test OK. Can anyone shine any light on this? its a PITA to try to use the A/C while the car is sucking all the hot air from the outside, specially from the engine heat.
