Had my OEM installed by Mazda nothing but problems since day one, over a year now, regularly does not find the ipod although it plug in all the time in the glovebox, I lose my playlists and for some reason can't get back to them again without resetting the ipod, but the playlist are on the ipod just can't get back to them. I've tried two ipod's my old 3rd gen 20 gig perfect size for the car and 5th gen Nano 8 gig same issue, so it can't be both ipods. On the 5th gen Nano does not find playlists at all, finds Artist, Songs etc O.K. Heard too many playlist/songs may cause this problem is this true? I keep my playlists to less than 10.
Help! Mazda not a big help!

Also have a 5th gen 80 gig I've yet to try..... reason don't want to leave in car, use it everywhere else.
