I noticed a scratch in my leather that is on its way to tearing on the drivers seat. Its right under my right leg, so I am sure that the subtle moving of my foot between the gas and break is what is causing it to start to tear. I use leather conditioner regularly, but I think it will tear in the next month. Would this be something covered by the warranty? I am a little irritated at the quality of the leather. My car is barely 8 months old and the leather is already starting to tear...not good...

 

The dealer claims it was a cut, which I completely disagree with. The leather hasnt started to tear, but it looks like it will if gets dry. Is there some leather product I can buy to "fill" the crack so it doesnt tear?

 

yeh...mazda aint gonna fix it, so I want something aftermarket that will let me repair it...
