Ipod kit for RX8?

Is there such thing as an ipod kit for RX8 atm or are there any rumors/release dates for one? I looked up Dension's and Monster's ipod kits and they dont have any that are compatible for the RX8 atm. I know of a hack for Dension's icelink ipod kit that involves disabling your CD player/radio for it, but i dont wanna do that... I want my cd player/radio to work, so i was wondering if anyone has heard anything or knows anything about some legit ipod kits for RX8s

huh? the Denison's icelink has worked for over a year now

now do you want an aux in or aux in plus ipod control (steering wheel, etc.)

u need firmware 9.55 or higher on your HU for this to work btw...if u don't www.mazdaparts.com does upgrades

Really? it said on their website that it was incompatible... I'd like steering wheel capability. does this website http://www.whatsmyip.org/ipodrx8/ allow me to use my CD player, radio, and steering wheel functions? If so i guess i can figure it out. What Icelink thing do i buy? I know they have different icelink models for diff cars so which one do i buy since they dont have one specifically for Mazda (so says BestBuy)?

that link is great info on removing the head unit but is a crude aux in...I wouldnt use it AT ALL

to get the icelink to work...by the maz/alp PIE adaptor and then the Icelink for Alpine M-bus, the steering wheel controls will control the ipod and this will provide a chrystal clear aux in

I guess since I already have the PIE box, if I get the IceLink, I can sell the PIE box to someone here for cheap. If I add IceLink, I would lose the ability to run multiple inputs into the PIE box though? Does the IceLink tap power from the PIE box or do you run a seperate wire to the fusebox? Right now, if I wanted to have multiple inputs, I could just make a switch for multiple RCA's. I was also thinking about just getting a RF remote adaptor for the iPod. Oh, Dension's website now lists Best Buy as a retailer for the IceLink.
look in the aftermarket Denison units...for the Alpine M-Bus

both still work just fine...to access the icelink you press 'cd' a second time...press cd again to go back to cd

also still works if u have the 6 disc internal cd changer no problem
