XM Roady 2 Mount

I searched around for a bit, found hundreds of threads on this topic, but couldn't find any reviews on this specific mount. I've tried three mounting options, none of which are good enough for me. I was wondering if anyone had used this particular mount, which attaches to one of the floor bolts of the seat. If anyone has it, how did it work out for you?

I am debating doing the ash tray mod i saw in this thread:

It looks sweet as hell, but i'm leary that there wouldn't be enough room to scroll through the channels without pulling it out. I do like how it hides the whole thing under the ashtray door, though...

Here are the pics, like i said, simple xm mount found at Best Buy or Circuit City. I drilled holes to mount the braket with the dremel and used self tapping screws. I use the existing circular trim piece that pops out to run wires and wrap them in wire loom for a finished look. Had to trim the plastic trim piece a little with the dremel so i could put it back on. Pretty simple stuff! Hope it helps!

First pic is how it looks in my "cockpit", second is the bracket itself screwed to the interior of the glove box hole, note glove box open but it still closes fine with the mount there, just test for fitness before drilling holes in your baby!
