interior woes

my shift **** has come a little loose and it sits to the side a bit. It also vibrates when i am accelerating. I tried to tighten it but it comes loose again

everyone seems to have this problem--my arm rest tabs have broken off and i can lift the side of the arm rest

my radar detector fell off my windshield and scratched my dash---wow

it was 13 degrees outside today and when i pushed my my emergency break, a small piece of plastic broke off. not noticeable, but i know

i am not difficult on my cars interiors, so this seems a bit excessive for an interior problem

I've had zero problems with my interior bits breaking, but it may not get as cold here as where you live... and as I'm sure you know, plastic gets brittle in extremely cold weather.

The good thing is that everything you listed except for the dash scratch is covered by warranty. Get your car into the dealership and have 'em fix those things!

Additionally, if you are in an extremely cold climate, you might consider getting some kind of an interior heater that you turn on a bit before you hop in the car to go to work. Not only do they make it reeeeeeeeeally nice to get into on cold mornings, but they also warm up the interior enough that your plastic bits might be less brittle. Just a thought.

the vibration is normal, we have what is called a direct linked shifter, all rwd cars have it, its because the tranny is directly under the shifter.
heres a fun thing to do with it, whenever you have a lady riding shotgun, have her hold the ****, 9 times out of ten theyll make a goofy face (in relation to the vibrator they may very well have sitting at home) its great, one of my very good, and cute blond friends, dominique only rides in my car whenever were going somwhere... im afraid to leave her alone with my baby, lol
