Hey yall newb question here... How do you get to the bulbs for the map dome lights?? The light bulbs crapped out on me and their is a Tibet dead spider in their too I know the 2 screws you have to remove, but when I pull down it doesnt want to come off. Is their another hidden screw missing or am I not pullin down hard enough or am I doin it all wrong...

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the screws.




3. Remove the map light. (See Map Light Removal Note.)

4. Disconnect the connector.

5. Remove the socket, then remove the map light bulb.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Map Light Removal Note
1. Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the gap between the headliner and the map light.

2. Press the tab, and remove the map light.

Personal opinion, but I like this DIY mo betta even tough the pics weren't correctly linked in.

 

i just did it last weekend pretty easy pop out you just gotta work, the only annoying part was trying to get the bulb out with my fingers haha

 

What the hell is a "Tibet dead spider" and what's it doing in your dome light?

 

Sounds like a Camel Spider's cousin. Nothing like a giant spider chasing you at 10 Mph.

 

I didn't mean to say Tibet I was typin "little" on my phone and I must of misspelled it and thats what came up but yea thur is a little dead spider in my light
