Interested in a custom fit sub box?

I'm going to be building a custom fit sub box for my RX-8 for two 12's. If anyone is interested, I can build a few more since I will already have a template. I can post pictures once it's built but I want to get an idea to see if there is a market for this out there. I'll post the custom box I made for my celica.

BTW I'm an extremely busy person, so it might be a month before I get to it. It might even be a week or so before I log back on here. If you are interested, I WILL eventually get back to you. I appologize now for this so please be patient. I will probably sell them around $100 each plus shipping. They are on ebay for $119 plus shipping, but they are plain black. I will probably incorporate a rotor logo around the subs in a color of your choice or something of that nature.

Im interested...

but whats the final product going to look like? anything like the Zenclosures box?

They can make it with 1 or 2 10"s or 12"s but i don't like that it doesn't have much airspace

but Lemme know what you are thinking and I'll probably order one from ya!

with good reason. if it were any bigger, it wouldn't fit through the trunk opening. there might be a little more room on the sides though, but not much.

Yeah thats a good point.. i forgot how small that opening was..... 12 - 13 inches if i remember correctly

so you'd have to build the box so i can fit through that - or so that the pieces fit through there and are easy enough to assemble inside the trunk...

Yes, it will be very similar to that one but I will incorporate some sort of rotar design on it. I haven't designed it yet, so ideas are also welcome. I will probably get to it after my fall semester is over around Christmas time. Right now I'm putting in 60+ hours at work and full-time college! I don't have time for anything!

I own the Zen box and it's a VERY tight fit. Even an inch larger and I dont think it would fit through the trunk opening. Honestly.

Maybe a two piece box? One part for each 12"? Only way I can imagine making a box you could sell to others to drop right in.
