There is no way I can fit my old system from my explorer in the 8. Which means all new equip. I think it would be worth it to wait till a head unit is available? Any thoughts? Or is everyone having luck hookin up their systems to the stock head?

 

Replacement amps and speakers no problem, it's been done a bunch at this point. Just hunt around in this forum and you'll see. But thus far, no one here has replaced the head unit.

He probably means smaller in size than the ones he has for his explorer so they can fit into his Rex.

 

thats right......I had 2 S18x's in my explorer....I don't think they will fit in the 8
