Do you mean the Bose feature, Audiopilot?

I know there is an Auto-Leveling Control but I don't know how to access it and I don't find the volumn changes at all if I turned off Audiopilot.

Mine seems to work. when audiopilot is on , make sure windows are up and fix sound the way you like it. Then roll the windows down , you will only notice that sound level does not change. i can be going 80 down the Interstate roll the windows down and never have to reach over and adjust radio. Even if a big truck comes buy i never hear it. i have tried to test it but its so smooth that you cant tell . From a guy coming from a convertable i think its one of the best things about the Bose system. Not hearing anything beside me with the windows down is a first for me.You must have the base system because my audiopilot is just a on and off thing.

ALC is the base system's equivalent of AudioPilot on the Bose. It's supposed to adjust the volume stepwise in relation to road speed, and has three selectable rates. If you do not notice any change in volume even at Level 3, then there's somethig broken and you should get it looked at under warranty.
