I ve just bought an RX-8 2006 it's got a huge CD player but I can't find the bass & treble buttons. the previous owner left it in a much treble sound and its harmful to my ears, how may I lower the treble? Thanks

 

I believe it's the text/aud button on the lower right...just keep pressing it until you see bass/treb values.

Thats right. It should be a round **** that you push in until the options are given. I had the same issue with my 2004

 

I'll guess that since he says "huge" CD player that it's not stock. Are we left to then guess what make and model it is?

If it's stock, then did you get an owners manual? If not, you can download one for free at www.mazdausa.com under owners.

thank you for the comments. I have adjusted the treble accordingly.

By saying huge I was referring to its huge frontal area which didn't contain such useful bottons as treble/bass buttons.

 

why can't all our problems be this simple ?

 

You just haven't asked where the correct boost **** is.
