i installed it, and for now i just wanted to try it through the radio, i hook it up and find a clear station and i faintly faintly hear the car...like barely whispering even with the volume all the way up. i then try to navigate through the D+P and its saying the ipod is disconnected when it is connected. I tried contacting HK but got no help there....the touch is the same interface as the iphone and many have been able to use it.

i dont want to go through the trouble of hard wiring it if its not gonna work with the touch which is why i tried the radio 1st...anyone have any advice on how to get this to work. btw when connected i can still scroll through music on the ipod, from my understanding it should only be accesible through the D+P which brings my 1st concern.

 

yeah, I had the same problem. I got a "ground loop isolator" from radio shack and it helped a little bit (but not 100%).

 

looks like theres no solutio then, i really bought the touch cause i loved the way it operates...i like the tough screen interface, but i guess if iwant somethin to work in the car i gotta get somethin else, which is gonna take away from the convinience of taking my ipod with me around.

any other sollutions anyone can think of to get my ipod to work with this kit. or another way to get it to work with the car.
